No Kings rally in Dover-Foxcroft
DOVER-FOXCROFT — One hundred fifty concerned citizens gathered on the East Main Street bridge in Dover-Foxcroft on Saturday, Oct. 18 for a No Kings rally. They joined over 45,000 other Mainers who demonstrated across Maine from Presque Isle to York representing a variety of political parties.
Citizens who assembled in Dover-Foxcroft held signs expressing concerns for voting rights, racism, ICE agents acting outside of the law and fear for the loss of democracy. They held American flags and wore red, white and blue. Many motorists honked horns and expressed support for the demonstrators.
