DEXTER — The Harold J. Crosby Community Band thanks all who contributed to a successful band camp weekend and concert. Special thanks go to the town of Dexter, Gatherings 4 Main Street, Kiwanis, corporate advertising sponsors and all who contributed to the hospitality of our guests.

Rehearsals will now be Tuesdays from 6-7:30 pm at the Performing Arts Center 12 Main St. in Dexter, enter at the municipal parking lot. Lesson time for new players starts at 3 p.m. Tuesdays at the PAC. Additional lesson times and locations are available by appointment. The PAC gives a dedicated home to the band and also has a Music FunShop for instrumental loan and repairs and an art gallery. A food pantry is available by confidential request.

Tootin’ Tuesdays are optional small group rehearsals at 1 p.m. at 59 Libby Hill Road in Newport (brick building) to help members feel more comfortable playing and a daytime option for those who struggle with night-time driving.
