
Foxcroft Academy announces Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025
DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Saturday night, Aug. 2 during the 2025 Pony Tales & Cocktails Alumni Dinner event, Foxcroft Academy announced the 2025 inductees into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Established in 2011, the Athletic Hall of Fame has grown to include 86 former Foxcroft Academy student-athletes, coaches and contributors. This year, five new members will be inducted. They include:
Alan Smith, Class of 1965; Randi (Kennedy) McKenney, Class of 2004; Ian Champeon, Class of 2010; Makenzie (Beaudry) Smith, Class of 2019; and Gary Wakeland, a longtime coach and faculty member (1980s and 1990s).

The 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame banquet will be held as part of Homecoming Week festivities in September (Friday, Sept. 19). More details, along with full biographies, will be available in the coming weeks. See the Foxcroft Academy Facebook page for updates.

HALL OF FAMER — Makenzie Beaudry kept John Bapst swinging and missing all afternoon in a May 2019 softball game as she struck out 15 batters across seven innings while walking none. Beaudry has been chosen as one of five members in this year’s Foxcroft Academy Athletic Hall of Fame class.
