Seventeen run in Foxcroft Academy’s Pony Pride 3.8K

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Foxcroft Academy graduates, community members and visitors to the region kicked off the Saturday of Foxcroft Academy Alumni Weekend on Aug. 2 by running in the 2025 edition of the Pony Pride road race. For the fourth year in a row the course was 3.8 kilometers (nearly 2.4 miles in length) with the runners staying in town on the Saturday morning.

2024 Foxcroft Academy graduate Zachary Peirce won this year’s Pony Pride, running a time of 15 minutes, 58.4 seconds for the top performance among the field of 17 entrants. Peirce also won the race for the second straight year.

2023 Foxcroft Academy graduate Leah (Hill) Conner ran a time of 19:23.4 to earn the 2025 Pony Pride women’s title. She repeated as the women’s winner and was fourth overall in 2025.

PONY PRIDE WINNERS — Leah (Hill) Conner ’23 and Zachary Peirce ’24 are the women’s and men’s winners of Foxcroft Academy’s 2025 Pony Pride 3.8K on Aug. 2. Hill came in fourth overall at 19:23.4 and Peirce was first among 17 runners with his time of 15:58.4.
