DOVER-FOXCROFT — A St. Albans man is charged with manslaughter after he allegedly crashed a car while driving drunk, killing his passenger.

Issac Weymouth, 23, was indicted June 26 by a Piscatiquis County grand jury on one count each of manslaughter and operating while intoxicated causing death.

He allegedly drove drunk and crashed, killing Jersie Worley-Stewart, 22, of St. Albans, on Jan. 26. Weymouth had serious injuries in the single-vehicle crash in Dover-Foxcroft, according to previous reporting.

Weymouth said he had no comment on the indictment.

Worley-Stewart was the mother to a then-3-month-old boy, and Weymouth is the father, according to a GoFundMe started after the crash. Her world revolved around her son, and she loved her family deeply, her obituary said.

Worley-Stewart brought happiness to everyone around her and she loved making people laugh, dancing, signing and camping, her obituary said. It also said Weymouth was the love of her life.

Weymouth was granted a $1,000 cash bail, which he has posted. He is scheduled for an initial appearance on Sept. 8.
