PVC baseball/softball honors

Area baseball and softball players were recently honored for their performances during the 2025 season by the Penobscot Valley Conference.

The PVC Class C First Team includes Foxcroft Academy senior Hayden Strout, junior Lucas Sands and sophomore Thomas Day and junior Brady Gaw of the Dexter Regional High School/Piscataquis Community High School cooperative. Strout is also the Player of the Year.

Foxcroft Academy senior Calvin Landry is on the Second Team.

Local Third Team honorees are Foxcroft Academy senior Josh Knapp and Dexter/PCHS senior Willis Reinhardt and junior Noah Kain.

For softball the Class C Second Team includes Dexter senior Kayleigh Dunton and junior Desiree Adams, Foxcroft Academy sophomore Lilli Bisson and Penquis Valley High School freshman Makayla Cook.

Third Team players include Dexter senior Claire Fogler, Foxcroft Academy junior Addison Menz and Penquis senior Kalea Gahagan.

Freshman Ava Edes of PCHS was chosen to the Class D Third Team. PCHS freshman Breelyn Gaw earned honorable mention recognition.
