Donahue jumps at New England track championship

NEW BRITAIN, Connecticut — Foxcroft Academy junior Conner Donahue, the 2025 Class C boys long jump champion, took part in the event at the New England outdoor track & field championship at Veterans Stadium in Willowbrook Park on June 14.

Donahue finished with a top distance of 19 feet, 11.75 inches to come in 20th among 27 entrants taking part in the event from across the six-state region. 

He was second among five Maine long jumpers, trailing just the 20-07.75 for Class B champion senior Stephen Pierre of Leavitt Area High School of Turner. 

Finishing first was senior Uly Junker-Boyce of Thetford (Vermont) Academy with a jump measuring 23-07. Junker-Boyce won by 11 inches.
