Zimmerman recognized at the state house

AUGUSTA — Sen. Stacey Guerin, R-Glenburn welcomed Bill Zimmerman to the Maine Senate to present him with a Legislative Sentiment to congratulate him for being awarded the Maine EMS Lifetime Achievement Award.

Since his first patient transport in 1983, Zimmerman has served Dover-Foxcroft and surrounding communities for nearly 42 years, responding to tens of thousands of calls and providing care during some of the most critical moments in people’s lives. His skill, experience and professionalism have earned the respect of patients, colleagues and healthcare providers alike.

“I was very pleased to be able to recognize Bill in the Senate Chamber. Bill has been a tremendous asset to the Dover-Foxcroft community over his lifetime of service, and I wish him the very best in retirement,” Guerin said.
