BREWER — Athletes from the region took part in the 2025 Penobscot Valley Conference junior varsity track & field championship on May 27 at the Brewer Community School. The following local athletes placed in the top 10:
Girls 100-meter finals: 7. Piscataquis Community High School sophomore Hailee Marshall 14.79 seconds.
4×100 relay 4. Foxcroft Academy freshman Lexi Bjornson, senior Maddison Gaylord, freshmen Briana Rosbicki, Zoey Eakright 1:01.37.
400: 2. Penquis Valley High School sophomore Ava Shoopman 1:15.23.
200: 6. Eakright 31.14 seconds; 9. Bjornson 31.50 seconds.
Long jump: 4. Marshall 13 feet, 1.25 inches.
Javelin: 3. PCHS freshman Lilly Boutilier 68-08; 4. Penquis senior Lily Coons 67-11; 9. Gaylord 58-10; 10. Penquis freshman Makayla Rozelle 56-03.
