Gordon Contracting awarded Route 15 project

Gordon Contracting of Sangerville was awarded the Route 15 highway project from Abbot to Greenville by the Maine Department of Transportation. The $23.6 million contract will consist of recycling the existing pavement in place and repaving as well as large scale shoulder reconstruction.

Work will begin in June and carry into 2026. Subsurface drainage work is expected to begin in mid-June. The total duration is expected to be 200 days.
