Brownville and Milo Memorial Day events

American Legion Post 92 of Brownville Junction and American Legion Post 41 of Milo will mark Memorial Day on Monday, May 26 with several morning events.

A prayer and ceremony starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Brownville Junction Cemetery with a prayer and ceremony starting at 8 a.m. at the Brownville Ceremony. All are welcome to attend both.

At 10 a.m. a parade departs from American Legion Post 41 on West Main Street in Milo. The procession travels up Park Street to the Evergreen Cemetery for a ceremony. Parade participants are welcome to attend a lunch at the Post.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE — The American Legion Post 41 color guard leads the 2023 Milo Memorial Day parade across the Henry “Butch” Heal Jr. Memorial Bridge as the procession traveled from the Post home to Evergreen Cemetery. This year’s parade will be at 10 a.m. on Monday.
