PCMS track runs in Old Town

OLD TOWN — The Piscataquis Community Middle School outdoor track team took part in a Eastern Maine Middle School Track League meet at Old Town High School on May 21. The following Pirates placed in the top five in their respective events:

Girls grade 5-6 100: 4. Rylee Libera 16.18 seconds.

Grade 5-6 high jump: 4. Emma Crocker 3 feet, 6 inches.

Grade 5-6 shot put: 2. Isis Brown 23-05.

Grade 5-6 discus: 1. Brown 58-07; 4. Kynleigh Haverfield 33-10; 5. Mahala Hayden 27-02.

4×100 relay 5. PCMS Aurora Shubert, Brown, Libera, Mya Knight 1:05.00.

Grade 7-8 high jump: 4. Reagan Rollins 4-02.

Boys grade 5-6 100: 3. Mason Martell 15.36 seconds.

Grade 5-6 high jump: 1. Martell 3-06.

Grade 5-6 discus: 2. Martell 57-10.

Grade 7-8 55 hurdles; 3. Elijah Polley 10.58 seconds.

Grade 7-8 discus: 4. Polley 67-08.
