AUTHOR VISIT — Maine author and illustrator Chris Van Dusen, best known for his his beloved children’s books, including “The Circus Ship”, “If I Built a School”, “If I Built a Car” and “Learning to Ski with Mr. Magee”, visited the SeDoMoCha School in Dover-Foxcroft on May 14. The event was made possible by the support of the Parent Teacher Community Organization. Students thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Van Dusen was incredibly engaging, took time to draw for the children and shared insights into his journey as both an author and illustrator. Van Dusen has an art exhibit on display at the Maine Maritime Museum through March 29, 2026. The exhibit showcases his illustrations and brings his lovable characters to life.
