Piscataquis Democrats host Spring Brunch

SANGERVILLE — Piscataquis County Democrats gathered for their annual Spring Brunch at the East Sangerville Grange on May 4 with over 60 people in attendance. Participants enjoyed delicious food and entertaining remarks by Chris Almy who served as emcee for the event.

The enthusiastic crowd welcomed Charlie Dingman of Leeds and Imke Schessler-Jandreau of Bangor, newly elected chair and vice chair of the Maine Democratic Party who outlined their strategy for the months leading up to the midterm elections. Local Democrats also heard from Shenna Bellows of Manchester, candidate for governor in 2026, and Jordan Wood of Bristol, candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2026.
