Local Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race results

Paddlers from across the region took part in the 2025 Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race on Saturday, April 19, traveling about 16.5 miles from the village of Kenduskeag into downtown Bangor.

Ronald Harvey of Garland was 17th in the open class with his time of 3 hours, 31 minutes, 34 seconds.

Among 2-person kayak entrants, Henry Rowell of Sangerville and Lexi Nadeau of Plymouth combined to place sixth at 3:53.06.

Orion Fleming of Parkman was second in the kayak 1-person long division at 2:26.13.

CANOE RACE — Water was high enough to cover most of the rocks at Six Mile Falls during the 58th annual Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race on April 19.

For kayak 1-person recreation entrants, Jeanne Moore of Dover-Foxcroft placed 13th in 4:52.01.

Nick Mangino of Guilford and Todd Halligan of Brunswick were entered in the canoe 2-person recreation class and they finished eighth with a time of 2:59.07.

In the canoe 2-person beginner division, Zeller Clayton of Parkman and Jim Irish of Bethel were sixth in 3:50.37.

The canoe 2-person short beginner group had Michael Devepino of Charleston and Jonathan Brenner of Williamstown, Massachusetts in seventh place at 3:50.30 and Tyler Bourgoin of Charleston and Jordan Clement of Charleston in 11th place with a time of 4:15.31.
