Foxcroft Academy to host benefit pasta dinner

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Attention, Dover-Foxcroft and Foxcroft Academy community! On Wednesday, April 30 Foxcroft Academy will host a benefit pasta dinner with all proceeds going to support FA staff members battling cancer. Let us cook for you. You just need to be here!

“Cancer affects everyone, and recently, several of our staff members have received the dreaded news from their doctors,” said Arnold Shorey, head of school at Foxcroft Academy. “As a school community, we want to show our support and rally behind our school family members facing this challenge daily. We want them to know they are not going through this alone.”

The benefit pasta dinner will be served on Wednesday, April 30 from 5-7 p.m. in the gym. The meal will include pasta, sauce, salad, garlic bread, dessert and beverages. A silent auction will also occur that night with several gift cards, baskets and more from generous local businesses.

Admission is by donation, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the affected staff members. It’s open to everyone, so bring a friend.

If you have questions or wish to donate an item for the silent auction, please contact Toby Nelson at toby.nelson@foxcroftacademy.org or call 207-564-8351.

We will cook and clean up. All you need to do is show up! Let’s fill the gym and show our support for our own. See you all on April 30!
