Dover-Foxcroft Downtown Revitalization Committee organization meeting Wednesday

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Dover-Foxcroft Downtown Revitalization Committee will be having its first organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16 at the Thompson Free Library in the basement meeting room. The meeting is open to the general public, business owners, heads of non-profits, economic development officials, local and county leaders and investors. The meeting will not be on Zoom.

The group is not yet an official town committee, but organizers are working on a proposal to bring to the select board.

The April 16 meeting will include forming the committee, voting on officers, discussing the mission statement and goals and creating a proposal to the select board in order to become a town committee. Discussion will also take place on the need for a new downtown revitalization study/plan and how to get the funding after the group becomes a town committee.
