Parkman Grange spring events

PARKMAN — The Parkman Grange is pleased to announce their spring schedule.

The Daddy Daughter Dance will be Saturday, April 12 from 6-8 p.m. Young ladies are invited to attend with their dad or an important adult in their life. Admission is $5 at the door. DJ Steve Boddy will be spinning tunes and having dance contests. Light refreshments will be served.  Keepsake photos will be taken to remember this special evening.

The 23rd annual Mother’s Day Tea will be on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to noon. This year the guest of honor is Maryann Roettger. Tea fare is served by the local Boy Scouts. Live entertainment and sing alongs, lots of door prizes and a 50/50 raffle make this a fun and popular event. All of this for $5 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Sue at 207-717-6248.

Minnie Bridge Scholarship applications are now available at the Parkman Town Office or anytime on the bulletin board on the porch of the Grange. This $500 scholarship is for SAD 4 area students that have completed at least one year of higher education. The deadline is June 14. 

Grange meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. at the Grange Hall. Anyone can join and make a difference in our community. The Parkman Grange is located on the corner of State Highway 150 and North Dexter Road.
