
Pair of Greenville Lakers ski at Class B championship
RANGELEY – Two alpine skiers from Greenville High School took part in the 2025 Class B championship on Feb. 24-25 at Saddleback Mountain.
In the girls giant slalom Alayna McMahon came in 28th among 77 competitors who completed both runs. For her first run McMahon had a time of 49.13 seconds. Her second run time was 51.68 seconds for a combined 1:40.34.
In the next day’s slalom McMahon came in 16th among 67 skiers completing both runs. McMahon’s first run time was 49 seconds and her second time was 49.82 seconds for a combined 1:38.82.
Greenville’s Riley Roberts finished 52nd among 77 in the boys giant slalom. His first run was completed in 54.20 seconds, second time was 54.94 seconds, and combined time was 1:49.14.
Roberts came in 70th among 88 entrants in the slalom. His first run time was 55.98 seconds. Roberts did not finish run No. 2.
