PCHS girls track results

ORONO — The Piscataquis Community High School girls finished in a tie for sixth place at a Penobscot Valley Conference/Eastern Maine Indoor Track League meet on Saturday, Jan. 11 at the University of Maine’s New Balance Field House. The Pirates scored a half dozen points to tie Ellsworth High School for sixth place among a field of nine teams.

Freshman Ava Edes and Hampden Academy senior Mya Madden tied for third place in the high jump, with both clearing the bar at a height of 4 feet, 6 inches.

Junior Judith Jannsen came in third in the triple jump with her leap of 30-00.75.
