KENDUSKEAG — At least two people were injured in a crash on Route 15 on Monday morning, Jan. 6.

The crash in Kenduskeag Village was reported around 6 a.m., according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.

According to officials, at least two vehicles had been speeding at the time of the crash. An initial investigation shows that a vehicle crashed into another vehicle on Route 15, causing the second vehicle to strike a third driver.

The vehicle driven by Robert Antonio Barroso-Perez, 26, of Brewer rolled multiple times after crashing into a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Kasey McCue of Guilford, according to officials.

Both Barroso-Perez and McCue declined medical treatment at the scene of the crash, officials said.

The driver of the third car involved in the crash has not been identified.

Officials believe that Barroso-Perez and McCue had been speeding at the time of the crash. Both drivers were issued summons for driving to endanger.

Officials urge drivers to pull over and let speeding drivers pass.
