CHRISTMAS FOOD BOXES — Early on the morning of Dec. 21, Dexter Regional High School Student Government and Key Club members, along with several Dexter Sunrise Kiwanis members, gathered at P & L Country Market to assemble and wrap more than 70 Christmas food boxes to be given to area families. This is the 25th year that Dexter Sunrise Kiwanis has sponsored this program, which was started by the late Frank Clifford — a Kiwanian. Students help the Kiwanians wrap, assemble, and load the boxes, which are then delivered by Kiwanis members to families in the area who might not otherwise be able to afford a holiday meal. Thanks to the P & L Country Market who partners with the Kiwanis and the DRHS Student Government in this effort. Front, from left, Ava Brown, Chloe Murdoch, and Bayleigh Wiggins.
