Thirteen from region run in Millinocket Half-Marathon

MILLINOCKET — Thirteen runners from across the region took part in the ninth annual Millinocket Half-Marathon on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Jasper Makowski, 20 of Dover-Foxcroft, covered the 13.1-mile course in a guntime of 1 hour, 46 minutes, 52 seconds to place 162nd among a field of 1,725 finishers.

Jacob Hebert, 44 of Garland, came in 261st at 1:53.31 with Carl Hebert, 13 of Garland, right behind in 262nd place with a matching time of 1:53.31.

Other area runners were Edward Mead, 33 of Dover-Foxcroft, 990th at 2:29.09; Morgan Ward, 37 of Parkman, 1,119th at 2:37.17; Lynsey Vigue, 31 of Greenville, 1,156th at 2:40.08; Holland Rockwell, 36 of Greenville, 1,284th at 2:49.59; Peter Devine, 75 of Garland, 1,348th at 2:57.38; Dawn Eckstein, 46 of Garland, 1,419th at 3:09.46;

Andrea Miller, 52 of Dexter, 1,492nd at 3:25.49; Joseph Cleaves, 69 of Dexter, 1,595th at 3:56.31; Douglas Rhoda, 51 of Dover-Foxcroft, 1,687th at 4:45.05; and Janice Rockwell, 81 of Milo, 1,688th at 4:45.07.
