HJ Crosby Community Band presents free holiday concert on Saturday

DEXTER — Whether you are feeling a little “grinchy” or in the mood for traditional Christmas tunes ranging from mellow to upbeat, set aside an hour to join in the holiday spirit. The Harold J. Crosby Community Band of Dexter will present a concert Saturday, Dec. 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center 8-12 Main Street. The public entrance is in front, the ramp may be accessed via municipal parking lot if needed.

Refreshments will be available to enjoy during the concert (Cabaret-style). While the concert is free, donations are welcome to offset performance fees and other operating costs. There will be no make-up date if there is inclement weather.

The HJ Crosby Community Band is a wind, brass, and percussion ensemble comprised of members from various communities in the greater Dexter area. Membership is open to all levels and free instrumental loan and instruction are available for those interested in joining. A non-profit organization, it is a member of the New Horizons International Music Association and a member of the Association of Concert Bands.
