Local author to speak on ‘Salem Witch Haunt’

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society will be hosting Theresa Sneed at the next meeting. Sneed is an art teacher at SeDoMoCha Elementary in town. She is the author of many award-winning books across five genres: mystery and suspense, high fantasy, historical/time travel, realistic paranormal, and motivational.

As the ninth great-granddaughter of one of the women hanged as a witch in Salem, Sneed will focus on that story and her 3-book series titled “Salem Witch Haunt” as she shares the story of her grandmother Susannah Martin. Thoroughly researched, all interactions with real people from that era are based on primary sources.

Please join us as we learn Martin’s story. The meeting is on Monday evening, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Central Hall Commons. Books will be available for purchase. All are welcome.
