Golden for Congress launches re-election committees in every CD2 county

LEWISTON — Momentum to return Jared Golden to Congress continues to grow, with the campaign launching re-election committees in each of the 11 counties in the Second Congressional District.

“Jared is focused on supporting Maine’s economy and our way of life,” said the Hon. John Martin of Eagle Lake, co-chair of the Aroostook County Committee. “The County is pretty far from Washington, D.C., but we know we’re never far from mind for Jared Golden.”

“I support Jared because he delivers for our communities,” said Sara Salley, co-chair of the Waldo County Committee. “Like he did to help Winterport upgrade its wastewater treatment facility, keeping our water clean and saving property taxpayers money at the same time.”

“We’re seeing enthusiasm for Congressman Golden’s re-election from every corner of the district,” said Dan Jenkins, Golden for Congress’ campaign manager. “We’re confident that as our campaign reaches more people at the doors, on the phones and in the community that support will continue to grow.”

Mainers can join their local County Committee for Golden online.

Co-chairs of the Piscataquis County Coalition are Margarita Contreni of Greenville and Forrest Genthner of Medford.
