Swedish reunion in Dover-Foxcroft
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Swedish reunion group began on Aug. 18, 1990 with initial committee members Althea Haggstrom French, Madeleine Holmbom Pullen, Joyce Haggstrom Allen, and Hollis Nelson. There were 28 Swedish descendants and 12 guests in attendance at the first meeting held at the Monson United Church of Christ. They have met in various locations over the past 33 years, missing the gathering in 2020 due to COVID.
This year the Swedish reunion group met at the beautiful home of Carlson and Carolyn Williams in Dover-Foxcroft. There were 20 in attendance with a wonderful buffet luncheon and many Swedish dishes.
