11-year-old girl airlifted to Bangor hospital after ATV crash

DOVER-FOXCROFT — An 11-year-old girl was airlifted to a Bangor hospital on May 30 after an ATV crash.
The girl was riding an ATV with her 43-year-old father near Mayo Street in Dover-Foxcroft when the crash happened, according to the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department.
Both were taken to Northern Light Mayo Hospital with serious injuries. The 11-year-old was later taken by LifeFlight to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Dover-Foxcroft police said on May 31.
The Maine Warden Service is investigating the crash.
