New flagpole dedicated at Sangerville Veterans Memorial Park

SANGERVILLE — On May 18, during the park’s clean-up day, a new flagpole was dedicated once again to local veterans at Sangerville Veterans Memorial Park.

Donated by Macy Gardner, a 20-year Army veteran, the pole came with a new flag and a solar light installed at the top for night time illumination. Many local volunteers were on hand to celebrate the new pole as well as pitching in with the Sangerville Rec Committee for spring cleanup.
