Magic Bus: a tribute to The Who returns to the Center Theatre
DOVER-FOXCROFT – The Who tribute band Magic Bus is slated for a one-night-only performance at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 on the stage at Center Theatre. Following their unforgettable 2017 performance, Magic Bus is set to captivate the Center Theatre audience once again with their authentic and dynamic tribute to one of rock’s most influential bands.
Based in Portland, Magic Bus has meticulously crafted their performance to embody the spirit and energy of The Who. Their setlist spans the band’s illustrious career, from the defiant tones of “My Generation” to the introspective lyrics of “Who Are You,” and includes selected songs from the monumental rock operas “Tommy” and “Quadrophenia”. This performance is not just a concert; it’s a comprehensive musical journey that promises to leave an indelible mark on all who attend.
“Magic Bus graced the theatre stage in 2017. Everyone in attendance loved the show, and we’re thrilled to have them back again,” said Patrick Myers, executive director of the Center Theatre. “Their performance transcends the ordinary, offering a deep dive into the legacy of The Who.”
Ticket prices range from $13 to $17 and are available at www.centertheatre.org, by calling the theatre at 207-564-8943, or stopping in at the Center Theatre box office, 20 East Main Street in Dover-Foxcroft between noon and 7 p.m. any day of the week.
