Pine Tree Hospice’s 28th annual Variety Show on April 20

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The 2024 Pine Tree Hospice Variety Show promises an afternoon of laughter, music, and entertainment, all to support a good cause. The show will bring together performers from the local community to showcase their skills and raise revenue for Pine Tree Hospice, a volunteer hospice.

Scheduled for Saturday, April 20 from 1-3 p.m., the show will feature music by an Aroostook County pageant queen (she’s ours now!); a talented and experienced storyteller; and an audience sing-along with ukuleles. Two smart and obedient puppy-dogs will grace our stage with their owners, showcasing their excellent training.  Also performing is the popular Q-Tips — so-called by their gray-haired antics. Rounding out the show includes Wind and Stone, a Native American drumming group, as well as the ever-talented Susan Ramsey and her fiddle. And there will be more!

In addition to being a rousing good time, the 2024 Pine Tree Hospice Variety Show is an important fundraiser for Pine Tree Hospice. Pine Tree Hospice receives no federal funds (no Medicare) nor state funds (no MaineCare). Instead, Pine Tree Hospice trains volunteers to go into the community to help families cope with life-limiting illness – all for free.  Pine Tree Hospice depends on fundraisers – like the Variety Show – along with donations and private giving for its growth and existence.

Tickets for the 2024 Pine Tree Hospice Variety Show are by donation at the door (cash or credit card). A ticket offers you a chance to win door prizes from local businesses, drawn during the show. Plus tickets for the annual quilt raffle will be on sale at the 2024 Pine Tree Hospice Variety Show. Don’t miss your chance to buy a quilt raffle ticket!
