DEXTER FOOD DRIVE — From Thanksgiving up to Christmas break students and staff at Dexter Regional High School collected non-perishable food items to donate to the local food cupboard. In total approximately 600 pounds of food was donated. All involved were very aware of the food insecurity that exists in our area and wanted to do something a little special this Christmas season for anyone who finds themselves in need during this time of year. The food drive was made into a friendly competition between classes as early Winter Carnival points were on the line. The competition results were: first place seniors with 100 points, second juniors 80 points, third sophomores 60 points, fourth staff 40 points, and fifth freshmen 20 points.
