Bert Call/Henry David Thoreau photo exhibit
DEXTER — The Dexter Historical Society’s traveling Bert Call/Henry DavidThoreau photo exhibit is up in Dexter at Millworks at 16 Church Street. It is open Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Saturday, Aug. 19 and will be open Saturdays through September and October.
The exhibit includes 35 large size Call photos from mostly the North Woods of Maine that are matched with Thoreau quotes from his three trips to Maine. The exhibit is free and has not been out since before COVID.
