FIT TO RUN A 5K — . More than a dozen runners took off from the downtown athletic fields to loop the 3.1 miles around in 2022’s Friends of Community Fitness’ Riverfest 5K to kick off the Piscataquis River Festival in downtown Guilford. The 2023 race will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 by the downtown athletic fields. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. — children 14 and under can run for free — with free T-shirts while supplies last.
