Pine Tree Hospice Variety Show set for April 22

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Music! ance! Talent! Pine Tree Hospice’s 27th annual Variety Show is coming up! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 22 at 2 pm at the Center Theatre. This wonderful show has become a spring staple for our area, and this will be another great time! Last year we filled the Theatre — let’s do it again!

The Q-Tips, always a big favorite, are back with a special appearance. We have a solo by the very talented Beth Weatherbee, tap dancing, Community Fitness Silver Sneakers, Sihtric the Dancing Dog, Susan Ramsey, Some Reel People, and more. You will laugh with Laugh Yoga, and of course, the always-popular Parade of Sponsors. You haven’t been to our Variety Show?  This is your year.

Our famous quilt raffle will be drawn during the show. This handmade heirloom quilt will add beauty to any space. New this year are raffle baskets from local businesses — Little Shoppe of Candy, Bob’s Farm and Garden, Nature Goddess Skin Care, Bob’s Sugarhouse, and Don’t Worry Bee Happy, also drawn at the show. Both quilt and basket raffle tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the show or grab them ahead of time at the Pine Tree Hospice office or after April 3 at the Center Theatre.

Pine Tree Hospice celebrates living life by offering free non-medical support to caregivers and families, to people with progressive life-limiting conditions, and to the bereaved. The Variety Show is one of the most important fundraisers — as Pine Tree Hospice operates by donations and grants alone. Support from this event benefits Pine Tree Hospice’s educational programs, volunteer training, and outreach in towns in Piscataquis, Penobscot, and Somerset counties. Special thanks goes to Producer Level Sponsor Pleasant River Lumber.

Admission is by donation, with credit card or cash accepted. For more information, please contact us at Pine Tree Hospice, 207-802-8078 or info@pinetreehospice.org or at 883 West Main Street in Dover-Foxcroft. We hope to see you there!
