FIND THE WHOOPIE PIE CONTEST WINNER -- Darlene Burgess of Dover-Foxcroft, center, is the Piscataquis Observer’s 2021 Find the Whoopie Pie Contest winner. Burgess’ name was drawn from a pool of 10 weekly winners. Each received a pair of passes into the Maine Whoopie Pie Festival (to be used in 2022), five sample tokens and a festival magnet. Burgess’ grand prize basket includes Piscataquis Observer and Maine Whoopie Pie Festival swag, a sweatshirt, T-shirt, gift certificate to Stutzman's Farm for whoopie pies and other assorted goodies.
