The course is on the background and practice of meditation for relaxation and renewal. Beginners welcome. Chairs will be used, bring a cushion or meditation bench if preferred. Please arrive early to be quietly seated and settled by 6:30 p.m. Fee $6 per session.  No one will be turned away.

MILO: Three Rivers Kiwanis hosts cribbage games at 1 p.m. the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.

SANGERVILLE: The South Sangerville Grange meets the first Saturday of the month, with a potluck at noon and meeting at 1 p.m.

Sundays

BROWNVILLE: The Brownville Community Church holds Sunday School at 9 a.m., worship at 10 a.m. and then a coffee social to follow.

BROWNVILLE JUNCTION: St. John’s Episcopal Church holds services at 8:45 a.m.

DEXTER: Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 59 Main St., hosts Sunday School at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. morning services and 1 p.m. afternoon services.

DEXTER: Our Lady’s Kitchen serves a free (donations graciously accepted) hot cooked meal at noon at the St. Anne Parish Hall, 64 Free St.

DOVER-FOXCROFT: St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 1213 Dexter Rd., holds 11 a.m. services with Eucharist, followed by lunch.
