SAVE YOUR APPETITE FOR NEXT YEAR — The fifth annual Maine Hot Dog Festival, that was scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 15 in downtown Dexter, has been canceled. The Dexter Revitalization Committee plans to return with a bigger and better event in 2021.

The committee has agreed that it is best for all who volunteer, as well as attend, to be safe and remain at home instead of attending what would have been the fifth annual festival. The decision was made prior to any official announcement that may be made from the Governor’s office, so that everyone can make their plans accordingly.

The plan is to put efforts into a bigger and better festival for 2021. For more information go to redhotdog.org or facebook.com/maineredhotdogfestival/.
