OLD FOSSA’S BUILDING -- Dexter Seventh Day Adventist Church Assistant Minister Dawn Tritch and her husband Todd purchased the former Fossa’s building at 4 Main Street in Dexter to serve as a church space and community center. Gatherings 4 Main St. is in the midst of a soft opening with lunch starting in mid-September.
Dexter Tea Talk
DEXTER — The January Dexter Tea Talk featured speaker and musical performer Rose Hinkley, director of the Central Maine Country Music Association, presented information about charitable work and membership within her organization on Jan. 9 at Gatherings 4 Main St. with 43 people in attendance. You can listen to or play country music at the “jam session” held on the third Friday of each month from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the old Corinna school.
Come to the next Tea Talks event at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13 a at Gatherings 4 Main St. to hear Hinkley and friends perform some country music favorites for Valentine’s Day. Everyone is welcome. Free tea, coffee and muffins.
