Patricia D. Littlefield

Patricia D. Littlefield, 87, wife of the late Robert O. Littlefield, passed away June 18, 2019, at her home. She was born November 5, 1931, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Madison C. and Arlene F. (Waymouth) Dorsey. Patricia was a member of the first graduating class at Piscataquis Community High School in 1950. She owned and operated Littlefield’s Clothing Store in Guilford for many years. She had also worked in the law office of Judge Alvin Perkins, she worked in the offices of Guilford Industries and lastly at Pride Manufacturing.
Always involved with her community, she had been a member of the South Sangerville Grange for over 70 years, a trustee at the Guilford Public Library, a 4-H leader, a Girl Scout leader, a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Abbot Extension Club, and had served as treasurer for the Guilford High School and PCHS Alumni Association.
Along with her husband, Bob, she enjoyed traveling and covered most of the continental United States, as well as Alaska, Hawaii, Austria, Germany, Italy and Canada. But she always enjoyed coming back to the farm. She was an avid reader, a passion she passed on to her children. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and The Price is Right. Patricia was always delighted with flowers, hummingbirds and flamingos.
Patricia is survived by her son, David Littlefield and his wife, Donna, of Guilford; two daughters, Linda Marsh and her husband, Lee, of Guilford, and Julie Ramirez and her husband, Michael, of Olympia, WA; two brothers, Keith Page, Jr. and John Page. She leaves five grandchildren, Valerie Tarr, Felicia Huff, Robert N. Littlefield, Myra Fearon, and Justin Marsh; and five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Landon, Connor, Jesse, and Elia. She was predeceased by her parents, Arlene and Keith Page, Sr. and Madison and Ida Dorsey; a daughter, Sandra Littlefield; and a brother, Fred Dorsey.
Friends and family are invited to call from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon Monday, June 24, 2019, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Elmwood Cemetery, Guilford. After the services, refreshments will be offered at the Guilford United Methodist Church.
