PVC spring all-conference picks

A number of spring athletes from across the region received postseason recognition from the Penobscot Valley Conference (PVC).

For Class B baseball, Ryan Vienneau of Foxcroft Academy earned PVC Second Team honors.

In Class B softball, Foxcroft’s Makenzie Beaudry and Cailin Seavey were both chosen for the First Team.

Second Team honorees include Karis Dankert and Amber Richard of Foxcroft.

The Class C baseball First Team features Trever Richards of Dexter Regional High School at second base and Dexter’s Logan Perkins in the outfield.

The Second Team includes Penquis Valley High School’s Alvin Robshaw as an outfielder and Jeremy Martin on the pitcher’s mound.

Cheyenne Beem of Dexter is on the Class C softball First Team in the outfield and Penquis’ Camryn Rolfe is a utility player.

The Second Team includes Dexter’s Cloe Mountain in the outfield, Regan McNally as the designated player and Avery Herrick as a pitcher. Olivia Riitano of Piscataquis Community High School is also a Second Team pitcher.

Tory Asbury of Dexter and Martina Hill of PCHS are both Class C softball honorable mention selections.

The Class D baseball First Team has Greenville High School’s Camden Harmon and Jay Owens.

Chris Caiazzo of Greenville is on the Second Team.

For Class D softball, Halle Pelletier and Biance Breton are both on the First Team. Pelletier is also the Class D Pitcher of the Year in the PVC.

The Lakers’ Jess Pomerleau is on the Second Team.

In Class C tennis, Lilli McCormack of PCHS earned girls Second Team honors as did the PCHS doubles pair of Alessia Furiga and Sydney Hutchins.

PCHS’ Eben Cooley earned Class C First Team recognition for his play.

Zachary Wilson of PCHS was selected for the Third Team.

For the outdoor track small school division, Cymeria Robshaw earned First Team honors in the 100 meter dash and triple jump. Dexter’s Danielle Cummings is a First Team honoree in the 200.

The two earned Second Team recognition with Cummings getting the nod in the 100 and Robshaw in the long jump.

Ben Baldwin of Greenville was named to the boys small school Second Team in the 200.

PVC All-Academic selections are for baseball: Caleb Weeks and Trever Richards of Dexter; Matthew Spooner of Foxcroft; Nathaniel Pierce of Greenville; and Ethan Chadwick of PCHS.

Softball: Tory Asbury, Ashley Downing, Kaylee Harris, Addyson Herrick, Abigail Paige and Janette Patterson of Dexter; Kylie Dow, McKenna Higgins, Cailin Seavey and Hannah Sprecher of Foxcroft; Jordan Mann and Emily Vraux of Greenville; Hope Adkins and Rachel Beckwith of PCHS; and Katelyn Bolstridge, Brooke McKenzie, Camryn Rolfe, Faith Sickler and Megan Valvo of Penquis.

Boys tennis: Ethan Boutilier, Hunter Speed and Matthew Sickles of Dexter; Yuchen Fu, Sawyer McCarty and Botai Zhou of Foxcroft; and Nick Hutchins, Caleb Rolfe and Zachary Wilson of PCHS.

Girls tennis: Isabella Adam, Aino Rudloff-Eastman, Shannon O’Roak and Jayna Robinson of Dexter; Emelia Grant, Jiamin Gu, Mariah Poulin and Kailee Taylor of Foxcroft; and Lilli McCormack of PCHS.

Boys outdoor track: Dillion Allen and Christopher Roderka of Dexter; and Nicholas Daneman, Tigran Hayrapetyan, Spencer Ireland and Dustin Simmons of Foxcroft.

Girls outdoor track: Danielle Cummings of Dexter; Anna Barseghyan, Natali Barseghyan, Cailin Seavey, Hannah Sprecher and Sara Sofia Stentardo of Foxcroft; and Cymeria Robshaw, Camryn Rolfe and Faith Sickler of Penquis.
