‘Harm Reduction 101 & Naloxone Training’ Feb. 9 in D-F

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Maine Family Planning and Maine Access Points will sponsor “Harm Reduction 101 & Naloxone Training” from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 9 at The Commons at Central Hall. This free, engaging, community-based public health education event is open to all.

The program will include a review of the basic principles of harm reduction, a practical demonstration of how to administer Naloxone to someone experiencing an overdose, as well as discussion of proposed policy changes related to substance use and treatment being considered in the Legislature this session.
