First Abbot school reunion July 29

ABBOT — The Abbot Town Hall will be the location of the first annual reunion of students who attended school in Abbot, which organizers hope will become an annual event. A potluck picnic is planned to start at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 29 and this is a rain or shine event.

Please bring a dish to share, lawnchairs and memories of Abbot school days. Table settings, coffee, water and soda will be provided. If you know of anyone who might be interested please pass along the invitation to attend. Set aside the date of July 29 and be reunited with old classmates and new friends.

THE ABBOT SCHOOL — The old two-room school in Abbot served the towns people for generations. Students had dedicated teachers who went way above the call of duty to support the kids and they gave a firm foundation for future endeavors. Pupils of the Abbot school are invited to a reunion starting at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 29 at the Abbot Town Hall.
