Fournier hired as AOS 43 assistant superintendent/curriculum coordinator

LAGRANGE — Darcie Fournier of Milford has been hired as the new AOS 43 assistant superintendent/curriculum coordinator. The action was taken by the AOS 43 board of directors at a June 18th board meeting.

Fournier, who has worked in RSU 26 in Orono the past 15 years and who has been the principal of the Asa C. Adams Elementary School in the district the past six years, will begin her new position in AOS 43 in July. She replaces Dr. Kelley Weiss, who recently resigned her position to accept an administrative position in Chattanooga, Tenn. Fournier has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Orono and a master’s degree from New England College in Henniker, N.H.

AOS 43 oversees the districts of SAD 41 based in Milo and SAD 31 of the Howland area.
