Gerickont was chosen from a pool of 10 weekly winners in which entrants successfully located a whoopie pie hidden in one of that week’s advertisements. Gerickont won a basket of goodies including Maine Whoopie Pie Festival and Piscataquis Observer prizes. Presenting the prize package to Gerickont at the Center Theatre is Maine Whoopie Pie Festival Founder and Organizer/Center Theatre Executive Director Patrick Myers, Jeannette Huges of the Piscataquis Observer and festival mascot Sweetie Pie. The weekly winners received paasses and tokens for the 10th annual Maine Whoopie Pie Festival on Saturday, June 23 in downtown Dover-Foxcroft.
