SeDoMoCha Middle School celebrates its Winter Carnival
DOVER-FOXCROFT — SeDoMoCha Middle School students enjoyed a morning of fun during a long-awaited Winter Carnival on Friday, Feb. 16 (the last day of school before vacation).
Each grade level completed to earn points during various activities, this year coinciding with the timing of Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Students participated within some of the following activities: Frisbee curling, sock speed skating, bobsled, snow sculptures, snowshoe races, cardboard sled races, and figure skating. The grade level that earned the most points earned bragging rights and a trophy.
Bragging rights and the trophy went to the seventh-graders. The grade 8 students earned second-place honors, followed by grade 5 in third place and coming in fourth was the sixth grade.
The students and staff of SeDoMoCha Middle School look forward to competing once again next year.
