Robert “Pinky” Pinkham

Robert “Pinky” Pinkham, (Feb 1937- Jan 2018), formally of Cambridge, ME passed away in peace with the love of his family surrounding him.
Pinky was born in South Berwick, ME and attended Berwick Academy, class of 1956. He was a fireman and rescue diver for the town and he helped start the South Berwick/Rollinsford minor league program and then coached for 14 yrs. He worked for Central Maine Power for 36 years as a lineman and field planner. He was an avid sportsman and went hunting and fishing whenever possible. As a member of the Cambridge Cruisers he enjoyed participating in the annual Corn Field Ride to raise money for Make-a-Wish. He attended St. Anne’s Parish in Dexter and enjoyed fellowship after mass at the Ladies Kitchen. He traveled all over the state of Maine and enjoyed visiting Canada, Alaska and Bermuda. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Constance; son, William and his wife Toni; daughter, Linda and her husband
Raymond; grandsons, Steven, Michael and Matthew; sisters, Lucile and her spouse Joyce, Doris and her husband Chuck, Sandra and Joyce; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
An hour of calling will be held on Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 9:30am to 10:30am at the McIntire McCooey Funeral Home 301 Main St. South Berwick Maine. A Catholic Burial mass will follow at 11am at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 160 Agamenticus Road, South Berwick, Me. Burial will be in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery in South Berwick.
