ORONO — The Foxcroft Academy indoor track and field team was in action on Jan. 6 at an Eastern Maine Indoor Track League/Penobscot Valley Conference meet at the University of Maine. No Pony athletes recorded points but four finished in the top 20 in their respective events.
Sophomore Sadie Avellar came in seventh in the girls’ 400 with a time of 1 minutes, 21.81 seconds. Right behind in eighth place was teammate freshman Diana Demers at 1:28.81.
In the boys’ 400 sophomore Hunter Clark finished 14th at 1:03.53. Classmate Cole Edgerly was 18th in the event with a time of 1:09.83.
Clarke also came in 15th in the 55 prelims at 7.77 seconds.
