PCHS HELPS FILL THE FOOD CUPBOARDS -- The Piscataquis Community High School National Honor Society recently sponsored a school-wide food drive to help local food cupboards during the holidays, over 525 items were collected from the PCHS advisory groups. The top two groups were Mr. Garbowski's sophomores with 115 items and Mrs Martell's freshmen with 284 items. All donations were sorted, boxed up and split between the Guilford United Methodist Church food cupboard and the Sangerville Unitarian-Universalist Church food cupboard. Some NHS students sorting and counting food items from the recent food drive were, from left, Alex Huff, Adviser Mrs Doherty, Matthew Griffith, Zac Wilson, David Hession, Macee Pearl, Rachel Beckwith, Ethan Chadwick and Hannah Bagley.
