C.A. Dean Memorial Hospital celebrates 100 years of caring on Saturday

GREENVILLE — Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital invites the community to join in a celebration of 100 years of caring on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the hospital located at 364 Pritham Avenue.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to hear a presentation by leadership about the history of the hospital, receive guided tours of the hospital and Northwoods Healthcare, and learn about the hospital’s EMS team and the life-saving equipment they use during search and rescue missions. In addition, the Moosehead Historical Society has graciously offered to bring the hospital display to campus and will be set up for viewing inside the hospital.

“The theme of our celebration is past, present, and future — a fitting tribute to our continued focus to keep care close to home and in the Moosehead Lake region for generations to come,” said Terri Vieira, interim president of Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital. “This celebration is our way of thanking the community for their support and to share the hospital’s rich heritage and contributions during the last 100 years.”

Look for more information about the celebration and a schedule of activities on Charles A Dean’s Facebook page and website at www.cadean.org. This event is free of charge and all are welcome to attend.
